Visiting Professors, Research Fellows and Lecturers are people external to Oxford University whose contribution to the department extends beyond the normal range of academic collaboration. They may be on sabbatical, secondment or leave from their home institutions; much more commonly though their involvement with the department is occasional day visits and remote collaboration. Student visitors would be outstanding doctoral students who wish to benefit from Oxford’s vibrant research culture and contribute to the activity of the Institute. The student visitor programme exists to allow doctoral students the opportunity to work with leading academics and professionals. The Research Visitor Programme encourages mid-career and senior scholars, judges, practitioners, post-doctoral researchers and policy-makers engaged in the field of human rights law to visit the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights. Please note there is a fee associated with this scheme and these are detailed further within the programme guidelines. Neither is this programme intended to provide degree-oriented courses at Oxford University.
